greenSpace welcomes families with children and offers a 20% discount when booking both the main guest rooms for families or groups of more than two people.

greenSpace can comfortably accommodate 4 people which incorporates the use of our two main rooms (Chocolate Room and Pacific Room) along with the adjoining Breakfast Room that can be used for ensuite dining. At a 'snug' fit, we can accommodate 5 people.

Our rooms are not suitable for accommodating more than 2 adults so we are delighted to be able to offer the freedom of the whole suite for family needs. We regret that we cannot accept one room bookings for more than 2 adults to avoid noise disturbance to neighbouring guests.

Hosts Yolanda and Rosemary are registered primary school teachers and have four children aged between 3-12 years old who enjoy spending time playing with other children.

greenSpace also offers

• free access to a toy box, climbing frame, bikes, trikes and other outdoor equipment ideal for active children. If visiting the beach, don't forget to ask for the bucket and spade!
• free use of a highchair and child cot

• an opportunity to meet, play and 'hang out' with our 4 kiwi kids

• professional babysitting service at $10 per hour (by arrangement)

External services for children A primary school opposite greenSpace offers a large playing field and two adventure playgrounds available for use outside of school hours. greenSpace is situated beside English Park which is one of the cities small secluded belt areas with native plantings and a shallow stream ideal for paddling, safe exploring or simply relaxation. greenSpace is walking distance to many lovely parks and playgrounds, a year round family swimming pool and tennis court. We are just a few minutes drive to ‘Chipmunks’ indoor adventure playground.
