Historic wooden villas - St Albans is one of Christchurch's oldest suburbs with many beautiful, quiet tree-lined streets. If you appreciate large wooden villas that St Albans is best known for you will enjoy a stroll around the nearby streets.

Local market - Saturday mornings feature a market day at the neighbouring English Park. Here you will find art, craft, organic fruit and vegetables, knick knacks and surprise treasures at market prices.

Swimming pool and parks - greenSpace is walking distance to many parks and a tennis court. Other leisure facilities nearby include Centennial Pool and the QE2 leisure complex. Both are year round, offering leisure and fitness swimming, gyms and fitness classes. Casual visitors are welcomed. Centennial Pool is a 20 minute walk or short bus ride away. QE2 is a 10 minute drive.
