We love food so offering healthy delicious cuisine is extremely important as part of the greenSpace principles.

Our food is made fresh each day using natural ingredients and the freshest of produce, sourced from either our neighbouring English Park organic fruit and vegetable market or our own organically grown garden. Where at all possible we use certified organically produced ingredients and choose to remain GE free, cruelty-free and vegetarian/vegan.

We cater for people with allergies or special dietary requirements (lactose intolerant, gluten free, vegan). Just let us know in advance.

greenSpace offers breakfasts (both room service and breakfast area) as well as evening meals by request.


Eco breakfasts
$15 per person (complimentary for Gold rate guests)
Breakfast is served either in the privacy of your room or in the adjoining Breakfast Room.


Breakfast options

  • fresh homemade baking such as freshly made raspberry and coconut muffins, coconut buns in coconut cream and oaty hotcakes with organic maple syrup
  • organic porridge with blueberries, home made organic muesli (or choice of other cereals)
  • a selection of wholegrain, linseed or wholemeal toast (either home baked or from the local co-operative organic bakery) with your choice of spreads
  • made-to-order smoothies or fresh fruit juices
  • a selection of teas or organic coffee

We offer a choice of dairy, soya or rice milks. Our spreads and baking are egg and dairy free.

 





Eco dinners
We offer two types of evening meals services - Off the Menu or Of the Day.
Meals are either served in The Breakfast Room or in your own private room. If you would like to share a meal with us, please let us know when booking so that we can arrange to be free to dine with you.

Off the Menu - $30 per person

Winter menu options

  • cream of carrot and ginger soup
  • Portobello mushrooms baked in an almond tamari sauce
  • rice (choice of white or brown)
  • beetroot and courgette medley
  • mixed green salad
  • chocolate berry mousse with pear cream
 

Summer menu options

  • spring rolls with tomato chutney
  • polenta vegetable kebabs with coconut satay sauce
  • baked potato
  • mixed green salad
  • tomato and avocado salsa
  • summer fruit pudding with homemade banana ice cream

Of the day - $15 per person
'Of the day' is based on what is being made for our own table. In keeping with our eco principles, our meals are made free of animal products. Please advise in advance if you have any other dietary requirements or preferences. Meals served with a garden salad and/or vegetables. Possible Of the Day meal selections include:

  • stir fry vegetables with sesame marinated tofu cubes
  • basil and rocket pesto pasta
 
  • chilli non carne nachos
  • roasted vegetable pizza

Refreshments
Gold and Silver guests: A range of herbal and breakfast teas and organic coffee is freely available with a choice of dairy or non-dairy creamer, organic sugar sticks and a jar of homebaked organic cookies.

Bronze guests: A starter pack of tea, coffee, creamer and sugar along with in room kettle and mugs provided.
